Saddle pad material innovation: airshell and velvet

Inspired by the best long-distance systems, the saddle pad uses a mix of cutting-edge materials:

• Airshell outer lining: an ultra-resistant yet highly breathable technical fabric, designed to resist abrasion and maintain constant ventilation under the seat.
• Velvet lower grip: the surface in contact with the horse features a soft rubber honeycomb texture. This "sticky" material prevents the rigid saddle from slipping, ensuring the rider's center of gravity remains perfect even on inclines or at high speeds.
• Differentiated shock-absorbing core: inside, technical (shimmable) inserts create a spinal clearance channel, distributing weight onto the dorsal muscle bands and avoiding direct compression on the withers.

Why is it mandatory for the Naked line?

Unlike the Purosangue Cover line or traditional saddles, the Naked Piuma transfers aids and pressure directly and immediately. Without this reinforced saddle pad:

• The rigid shell could come into contact with the spinal processes.
• The saddle would tend to shift more on the horse's back.
• The rider would excessively feel the rigidity of the frame.

Care instructions

• Washing: Thanks to high-quality synthetic materials, the saddle pad dries in record time. Hand washing or machine washing (delicate cycle) is recommended to maintain the effectiveness of the velvet grip.
• Fitting: Always ensure the saddle pad is well "tented" (pulled up into the gullet of the saddle) before tightening the girth.
