Cristiana, between study and listening

My name is Cristiana, and horses have been a part of my life since I was four years old.

I don't remember a specific moment when I started riding: the horses were already there. They were part of my world, my way of growing up, observing, and asking questions. At first, I learned to ride them, but over time I realized that what truly interested me wasn't just being in the saddle, but understanding what was happening beneath me: how the horse moved, what helped it, what disturbed it, what changed when I changed.

I studied, trained in different contexts, and encountered approaches that were very distant from each other. The more I learned, the clearer a fundamental point became: there is no single right way to ride, nor a truth that applies to everyone. There are different horses, different riders, different situations, and there is the responsibility to make conscious choices.

EquiSaddle starts from here: not just as a simple store, but as a space for research, selection, and dialogue. A project that combines experience, study, and listening, with the goal of helping each pair to find the most respectful and coherent solution possible.

My vision of horseback riding: the horse at the center, not as a tool

I believe in a riding style that is not rushed and places the horse at the center, not as a means for performance, but as a living being with its own biomechanics and sensitivity.

For me, the saddle should not "force" or correct the horse, but unleash its potential, putting it in a position to work well. This vision guides every choice I make about EquiSaddle:

Welfare comes before results: a correct saddle is the first step towards a healthy and cooperative horse.
Freedom of movement: saddles must follow the back, never restrict it.
Constant evolution: my research never stops, because knowledge is a continuously evolving journey.

The brands I chose for EquiSaddle and why

I only choose projects that I truly believe in, because I have studied and tested them myself.

It is the project that represents me the most today. I chose them because they represent a rare balance: Italian craftsmanship, technical research, and real respect for the horse. Each line has a precise logic, and each saddle is designed to allow for natural movement, not to impose a shape.
These are saddles that can evolve over time, alongside the horse and the rider. And that is exactly what I was looking for.
