Ghost Torino Classic: treeless General Purpose monoflap saddle

The Ghost Torino Classic is a treeless saddle (treeless) with an English General Purpose design, featuring a single medium-length flap. It is designed for riders who alternate between flatwork and riding out and prefer a saddle without a specialized dressage or jumping design.

The Torino's distinguishing feature is its system of internal, removable leg supports: instead of using a very pronounced external block, the supports are placed in a pocket beneath the knee area. They provide a leg reference without rigidly defining its position and can be removed to achieve a different support feel.

Flap and leg position

The medium-length flap and the shape of the supports allow you to consider different stirrup lengths, depending on the work being performed and the rider's proportions. This is a practical difference compared with models with more pronounced external blocks, which provide a more defined leg reference.

The Torino also offers options for configuring the position of the stirrup leathers. The choice should be considered together with the seat size and the position of the supports: changing a single element can alter the overall sitting sensation.

Seat and configuration

The seat features a narrow twist and is available in the sizes Child 16″/40 cm, Small 16.5″/42 cm and Large 18″/46 cm. The listed weight for the model is 4.4 kg.

An optional pommel is available for those who want an additional front reference. Materials, colors and finishes can be selected from the options available for the model.

The Torino uses interchangeable and positionable panels: their selection, together with that of the base and any inserts, must be assessed based on the individual horse's conformation and the saddle's balance with the rider in the saddle.
